This story begins with my love of travel, which led me to extraordinary floral work experiences around all corners of the globe.
For four years, I was a global floral nomad, immersing myself in the whimsical, romantic floristry of London and the bold, contemporary style of New York.
When I returned to Brisbane in 2018, I brought these influences home and founded Garden Graffiti, a floral studio where art, storytelling, and design converge.
The name itself tells the tale of two cities — the ‘Garden’ reflects the old-world romance of London, while ‘Graffiti’ embodies New York’s vibrancy and modern edge.
Over the years, I’ve discovered that South East Queensland offers all that and more: breathtaking landscapes, vibrant celebrations, and a positive energy that makes it the perfect place to call home.
Behind Garden Graffiti
Our Philosophy
Our passion for floral design inspires everything we do. Those 4am market starts, spent sourcing the freshest, most beautiful blooms, are just the beginning of our creative journey.
Fueled by coffee and a carefully curated playlist, each day unfolds with energy, artistry, and intention. It’s all part of the process we adore - the quiet moments of creation, the rush of transformation, and the joy of bringing it all to life.
Led by Kat, our core team - Mon, Em, Viahn, and Annalise - bring their own signature style and strengths, blending individuality into one cohesive creative force.
This isn’t just our work; it’s our calling. We feel genuinely privileged to share our craft, creating floral experiences that linger long after the last bloom fades.
Let’s create something beautiful together…
Every Story Has Roots…
Garden Graffiti wouldn’t be what it is today without the love, support, and inspiration of my mum, Vivienne (1958–2020).
This business began humbly in my parents’ laundry, but my passion for flowers began much earlier - watching Mum pick stems from the garden and bring them to life in her delicate watercolour paintings.
She was a true creative: a painter, ceramicist, cook, and jewellery maker. Her love for beauty and design shaped me in more ways than I can count.
But above all, it was her unwavering encouragement and belief in me that gave me the courage to wholeheartedly follow my dreams and passions.
Her favourite flower was the yellow oncidium orchid, which perfectly reflects the vibrant legacy she left behind.
